Which ports are used in SGD and Visulox Service?
It is recommended to use a firewall between the clients and the server networks. According the firewall traversal configuration of SGD, there is just one port to open in the firewall: https (443).
The datastream must not be controlled by the firewall, because the TCC-Connection (Tarantella Client Component) is binary.
For SSH-Connections Port 22 is needed on all involved servers.
SSGD Servers in a SSGD Array use port 5427 to communicate internally.
To use Checkout, Report, etc. port 8080 is needed on the Visulox Servers.
If the database is not installed local (recommended), the right port according to Oracle or Postgres has to be opened.
(For an unsecure installation (HTTP) in test- and demonstration environments port 8080 and port 3144 is needed.)
