VideoLog – the Transparent Data Centre

We see VideoLog as the means of making system administration activities visible. Therefore, we have developed a centrally-implemented videography solution which replaces desktop recording while improving the protection of the private sphere of administrators.

Let’s take an everyday example. You are filmed filling your car at the service station. The video camera records your number plate and how much petrol you have taken on – but not where you came from or where you’re going. The latter are part of your private sphere and are therefore worth protecting. The same principle applies to our videography solution. Our solution records the manoeuvres, the name of the administrator and the time the work was carried out and not how they look or what they did after their administrative work.

This new kind of recording developed by us eases and strengthens cooperation with IT service providers – for both sides.
Your company can clearly track which steps have been carried out over which time period by means of the digital film and the written log provided by our solution. The IT service provider, on the other hand, has clear proof thanks to the film and log that they actually carried out the services. And only those services!
